APATS 2008 was staged recently in Bangkok and was the biggest event so far in this series. The conference theme, "Training for Safety in a Commercial World", attracted some 260 attendees, including representatives from 35 airlines. To read more about the success of the show click here.

AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong

The Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) will once again be held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on September 8-9, alongside Asian Aerospace 2009 (AA09), the leading business to business airline expo. APATS@AA09 will provide a focus for all airline training professionals attending AA09, with the APATS training exhibit and conference situated together in a prime position right in the middle of the show.

This year’s symposium will aim to deliver a focused, executive level treatment of Asia-Pacific airline training and simulation issues. Topical themes at this year’s conference are:
