ITT Selected by US Army
ITT Corporation has been selected by the US Army to provide expertise to its Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). Under the PEO STRI's Omnibus Contract II (STOC II), ITT will deliver simulation, training and instrumentation expertise and systems to the US Army warfighter. The indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract awarded to ITT has an estimated ceiling value of $3.1 billion with all options exercised, though no task orders have been announced.
"ITT brings to STOC II a long legacy of providing quality products and services to the US Army," said Mike Wilson, president of ITT's Advanced Engineering & Sciences (AES) business. "We have the systems in place to rapidly resource and response to IDIQ requests and we view this award as a significant opportunity to grow our relationship with PEO STRI and support our warfighters."
Work on STOC II will be performed jointly by two of ITT's defense businesses. The contract will be led and managed by ITT's AES business in Huntsville, Alabama, and communications system integration support and technology will be provided by ITT's Communications Systems business headquartered in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
