A Tradeshow Sensation

"It's now very clear that the 'W' in WATS stands for World," said one WATS delegate as he looked across the sea of faces and rows of booths at the WATS 2008 exhibition hall in Orlando, April 22-24. It's a fact! This year's World Aviation Training Conference & Tradeshow was the most international one ever with almost 1,000 people from six continents, 45 countries, 90 airlines and a total of 360 companies, universities and organizations. Delegates raved about the presenters, conference sessions, and the Exhibition Hall, while exhibitors applauded the expertise, knowledge, and caliber of delegates.

The four dedicated conference streams - WATS Pilot, RATS Pilot, Cabin Crew and Maintenance - focused on International Best Practice in Aviation Training and Education. WATS papers and presentations are available on this site free of charge for WATS delegates.

Delegates heard industry leaders present innovative new ideas and strategies to improve safety and performance in the conference sessions and saw state-of-the-art training solutions and equipment on the Exhibition floor. All of the world's major aircraft manufacturers, simulator manufacturers and training providers had their wares on display at WATS, showcasing a diverse collection of the newest and best training equipment and services for aircrew and maintenance operations.

"This WATS was incredible for us," said one company's booth manager, "because of the number of high-level, decision-making delegtes. These people came ready to do business, which contributed to our success."
