Orlando and the State of Florida are home to much more than family attractions!  They host many simulation and training operations – and most are close enough for a day trip from WATS.  Orlando is the home base of the simulation procurement commands for the US Army, Navy, and Marines and hosts an Air Force liaison office.  Florida’s High Tech Corridor, representing 23 counties across the center of the state, is home to more than 150 simulation companies and numerous airline training organizations including Simcom, Jetblue, FlightSafety, Simflighttronics, Delta Connection Academy and one of the world’s leading aviation universities at Embry Riddle.  Miami is one of the major concentrations of flight simulators in the world – home to Airbus, Aeroservice, Alteon, Panam (PAIFA).  And there’s more, so make the most of your visit to WATS and tack on a few days and take some time to visit these other attractions!

WATS Golf Day

Reserve your spot to play in the WATS Golf Outing. 

Holding with tradition WATS 2010 ‘tees off’ with our Golf Day on Monday 26 April - Florida style – in a four-player Texas Scramble. This is followed by a relaxing BBQ lunch and prizes for the winning teams and a great chance to meet new colleagues, clients and suppliers.

We play on the challenging, yet playable Shingle Creek Golf Course designed by David Harman.  All WATS Delegates and Exhibitors are invited to join in, irrespective of ability.  Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.  All players are responsible for their own greens fee (US $90).  Golf equipment can be rented from the club – or you may bring your own.  To register for the WATS Golf outing please email karen@halldale.com.   Golf registration deadline is Friday, April 9.
