APATS 2015 - Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium

Tuesday 15 - Wednesday 16 September 2015
Centara Grand Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand

The largest and longest established event for aviation training in the Asia Pacific region

479 aviation training professionals including 121 representatives from 51 airlines, plus ATOs, Regulators and the airline training industry met at APATS 2015 to share best practice and practical training solutions.

 

Next year APATS will be in Singapore

APATS 2016 will be at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Fairmont Hotel, Singapore on 30-31 August 2016. More details are on this page.
 

APATS 2015: Promoting Flight Crew Safety and Efficiency Through Training and Assessment

APATS is an independent and impartial conference and tradeshow that regularly attracts airline personnel, government and regulator officials, industry professionals and academics.

Participants come from all over the world to learn, educate and exchange views on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of flight training operations and procedures. Over the past three years APATS has attracted over 1,000 attendees from 70 airlines and 48 countries. 90% of people who attended APATS last year said they intend to return in 2015.

Conference Programme

Captain Yann Lardet, General Manager, Airbus Asia Training Center (AATC) was the keynote speaker at APATS 2015.

The overall theme of the conference programme was Training Solutions. Airline training experts from around the Asia Pacific region identified and presented practical solutions to current issues facing the aviation training community. APATS focusses on pilot and crew training and in 2015 included sessions dedicated specifically to Cabin Crew Training and to the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program.
