Features in the next issue of MS&T magazine will include:

Regional Focus: S&T Innovation in Asia Pacific – We examine trends and developments in Asia Pacific military forces' simulation and training programmes.

Protector RPAS Training – Protector RPAS which will enter RAF service in the early-2020s providing Intelligence, Surveillance, Targeting and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) in operations of up to 40 hours. Dim Jones reports on its training requirements and the training systems being put in place.

The 2021 Military Classroom: Still Relevant and Cost Effective? – The military classroom has traditionally been a mainstay of military training and education, but with the impact of the pandemic and technology does it have a future and if so what will it look like? Marty Kauchak investigates. 

Biometrics – Biometrics are body measurements and calculations related to human characteristics and have taken on everyday significance as consumer "wearables" proliferate. Rick Adams reports on the latest trends and how such data is being exploited in the enhancement of training and simulation.

Exercise Cerberus - Brigade HQ Training – Gareth Davies reports on Exercise Cerberus in which around 2400 personnel from across the British Field army deployed to Salisbury Plain in exercises designed to validate the key Brigade headquarters of the Army's Warfighting Division. 

Strike Up the Band - Musician Training – The military is unique in the very diverse set of expertise and training that are required as well as an underlying foundation of fitness, combat skills and military ethos. Robert Moorman looks at what it takes to become a musician in the military.

Submarine Training - Submarines are unique military safety critical environments requiring the highest levels of training across a broad spectrum of specialisations. Atul Chandra investigates. 

Sector Survey: Military Flight Training Device Trends and Developments - Military flight training devices are fundamental to supporting training safely and cost effectively. Marty Kauchak looks at the latest trends and developments in training requirements and technology.

Digital Twins - Digital twins are exact replicas of an existing or future living or non-living physical entities and are taking on more emphasis as many activities become increasingly digitised. Andy Fawkes looks at the opportunities and challenges for simulation and training.
