AVT Simulation Names New President

AVT Simulation has appointed 21-year US Air Force Veteran, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Kyle E. Crooks, as the company’s President. His responsibilities include all aspects of AVT’s business decisions and  programs, product development, business development, operations, finance and human resources.

Crooks spent much of his time with the Air Force in leadership roles with assignments at the National Security Agency, NORAD and Space Command. He also brings a significant level of industry experience including executive roles in small, mid-sized and fortune 500 companies holding such roles as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations, Director of Business Development, General Manager, and Chief Engineer on $100 million dollar programs. AVT says Crooks’ extensive knowledge of the training demands within the DoD, track record of industry success, and exceptional core strength in leadership be a great asset to the company’s future development goals.

Crooks received his Bachelor Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as his Master Degree in Computer Science from Florida State University. Crooks also earned a Computer Engineering Air Force Specialty Code from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and completed University of North Carolina’ Kenan-Flagler Business School Executive Leadership Program.
