Spatial-Door-Trainer

Aer Lingus, part of International Airlines Group, has awarded Spatial with a contract to upgrade and overhaul its Airbus A320 cabin emergency evacuation trainer (CEET) and A330 door trainer.

The work comes as Spatial has further committed to provide full support to Aer Lingus for the coming ten years.

The upgrade work will enhance the reliability of the devices through the installation of Spatial’s PLC-based operating system as well as an overhaul of the door mechanisms. Spatial will also install advanced features such as its next-generation cabin visuals system in the device.

Noel Houlihan, Safety Training Officer at Aer Lingus, said, “We look forward to bringing added realism to our cabin crew training when this project is complete and we can't wait to introduce our crew to the fantastic Spatial product offering.”
