AeroStar Training Services has been awarded a contract to provide RwandAir, the flag carrier of Rwanda, with flight training services with a view to the carrier’s senior first officers obtaining Airline Transport Pilot Licenses (ATPLs) from the FAA.

“We are pleased to partner with RwandAir and look forward to building a successful relationship that will benefit both parties,” said Marina Van Esselstyn, Director of Admissions at AeroStar, who is responsible both for winning and overseeing the new RwandAir contract.

AeroStar Training Services has expanded to offer a wide range of courses supporting both airlines and individual flight crew training. The company’s solutions include type ratings on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft, the ATP-CTP course necessary to obtain an FAA ATPL, Jet Transition, Multi-Crew Coordination, Ab-Initio pilot training, and Flight Attendant training.

In January 2017, AeroStar unveiled plans for a new 30,000 square foot facility to be built at the KISM Kissimmee Gateway Airport, Florida.
