Air Astana selects CEFA FAS to animate flight data

To implement the high safety standards, Kazakhstan’s flag carrier Air Astana chose CEFA Aviation’s CEFA FAS aviation premium software, which will animate its flight data.

CEFA FAS will be used to recreate flights from the 32aircraft, based on the raw data from the flight data recorders but also fromthe FDM (Flight Data Monitoring) System implemented by the airline. AirAstana’s fleet, one of the youngest in the industry, consists of many differentaircraft types, from Embraer 190 to Boeing 767, as well as Airbus A320neo andAirbus A321neo.

CEFA Aviation’s software shows the flights and the maneuversof the pilots with all these different cockpit types in a very detailedvisualization – even the hands of the pilots and the pedals are represented.
