Ten Cessna 172 Skyhawks delivered to ATP Flight School

ATP Flight School has accepted delivery of 10 2019 Cessna172 Skyhawks from Textron Aviation Inc. Each of the new aircraft are equippedwith Garmin's latest generation of G1000 NXi glass-panel avionics.

Once integrated into ATP's fleet, these 10 Cessnas will beflown by students and instructors in the Airline Career Pilot Program as theytrain to become professional airline pilots. The Skyhawks join 60 otheraircraft ATP has taken delivery of in the last 12 months, as airline demand forATP trained pilots reach unprecedented levels. Last year alone, airlines hiredover 640 ATP alumni. The Cessna 172 is utilized by ATP to deliver a stablepipeline of professionally-trained pilots to the airlines, with the majority ofstudents reaching their first airline job in about two years.

With a 100-plane order announced just last year, ATP FlightSchool is scheduled to take delivery of new aircraft each month through theremainder of 2019.
