Airway Management Education Center (AMEC) has introducedAirway Manager: Emergency, the newest educational experience from the creatorsof The Difficult Airway Course.

Airway Manager: Emergency on NEJM Knowledge+ is an onlinelearning program that combines airway management education with adaptivelearning technology.  The adaptivelearning platform uses smart technology that adapts to the user’s learninggoals, pace and gaps in knowledge, creating a customized learning experience. This makes Airway Manager: Emergency an efficient and effective way to masterand retain airway management knowledge while earning CME credits.

Designed for emergency physicians and beneficial for allclinicians who encounter emergency airways, the program can be used on acomputer, tablet or mobile device. The Airway Manager: Emergency app can befound in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

"It’s not always easy for clinicians to stay current inthis field or keep up with their continuing education requirements – given theincredible demands on their time,” says Calvin Brown III MD, editor of AirwayManager: Emergency and director of The Difficult Airway Course: Emergency.  “Airway Manager enables you to do both atyour convenience.”

Airway Manager is AMEC’s first foray into on-linelearning.  “We can now help our courseattendees extend their learning after a course is over and we can reach so manymore people who are unable to travel for live CME programs,” said Brown.
