The Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s (PSMF) MidyearPlanning Meeting, co-convened with UC Irvine Health, will take place onTuesday, September 17th, 2019, at the Beckman Center of the National Academiesof Sciences & Engineering, University of California, Irvine (UCI) on WorldPatient Safety Day.

This full-day working meeting will bring together 100 globalstakeholders across healthcare for an intimate examination and discussion abouthow the company can plan for ZERO preventable deaths in hospitals. This meetingallows an opportunity for participants to provide their experiences andexpertise as PSMF propels its mission of ZERO moving forward.

PSMF invites administrators, clinicians, representatives ofprofessional bodies, non-profits focused on patient safety, patients and famliymembers, engineers, and all other patient safety enthusiasts to the table.

More details will be released soon regarding specific topicsof interest for both the general and breakout sessions. The PSMF is notplanning to take nominations for new patient safety challenges this year. Thecompany does not expect new APSS to be developed between the Midyear PlanningMeeting and the annual Summit in 2020 in order to place emphasis on the 34already established action plans developed over the last 7 years.

Registration is complimentary and space is limited to 100 registrants.
