Uzbekistan have had a Thales flight simulator for Ecureuil helicopters (AS350/H125) installed at Karshi Air Force Base.
The simulator will provide emergency procedures training and initial training for pilots of the Uzbek Air Force.
The Karshi base will be home to the country's first training academy.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Defence attended the inauguration of the academy in early September. The academy, with capacity for 300 students, will provide training for Uzbek pilots and engineers.
Thales provide helicopter training solution in the civil and military sectors.
