Air Canada is advancing diversity and inclusivity in the aviation industry by launching a scholarship program aimed at supporting underrepresented students pursuing studies as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), according to Aviation Source News.

Teaming up with seven colleges across Canada, the airline will provide financial aid to students identifying as women or visible minorities enrolled in AME programs. Each selected student will receive a $1,500 scholarship, assisting with educational expenses, and gain hands-on experience through work placements at Air Canada Maintenance.
