TAG Global Training, TAG Aviation Europe's professional crew training division, has taken delivery of a new purpose-built fire and smoke training rig at its aviation training centre based at TAG Farnborough Airport. The fuselage-shaped unit was designed by Minerva Simulation Facilities to TAG Global Training's specifications with a representative business jet interior and will be used to simulate potential fire-related emergencies on-board business aircraft for TAG Aviation Europe's pilots and cabin crew. It is also the first fire and smoke training rig of its kind in the UK to be made available to other operators, individual aircraft owners and aviation training institutions.
