Flight Training Adelaide has announced that Virgin Australia will be continuing their pilot training program in 2017.
Applications open on 18 April 2017 and all training will be delivered by Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) at Parafield Airport SA.
Virgin Australia is seeking applications for two types of courses. Ab initio for candidates with little or no flying experience and advanced entry for candidates with a current CASA CPL.
The ab initio course lasts 54 weeks and meets the CASA requirements for Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL); Multi Engine Instrument Rating (ME CIR); Ground theory credits for an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL); Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT); and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC).
The Advanced Entry course lasts 22 weeks and meets the CASA requirements for Multi Engine Instrument Rating (ME CIR) as well as ground theory credits for an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL); Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT); and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC).
