CAE and Abu Dhabi Aviation Training Center (ADATC) have launched a new Embraer ERJ145 pilot training programme with Falcon Aviation.

Together, CAE and ADA will deliver training to Falcon Aviation’s pilots and other regional operators at ADA’s brand-new training facility in Abu Dhabi, beginning in the first half of 2018. As part of the programme, pilots will be training on the new CAE 7000XR Series full flight simulator (FFS) equipped with CAE Tropos-6000XR innovative visual systems.

“After months of development, it is gratifying to officially kick-off this new training programme to support our customers, including Falcon Aviation’s pilot training needs in the Middle-East,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions.

“We are excited to launch our new ERJ145 pilot training program in partnership with CAE,” said H.E Nadir Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation.

CAE and ADA share a relationship that spans over a decade. Last year, they announced the expansion of their collaboration to include CAE instructor-led training, courseware and training equipment.

ADA currently operates two CAE-built FFSs – one Leonardo AW139 and one Bell 412 FFS – and has two CAE-built FFS on order, including the new ERJ145 FFS. The sale of the Embraer ERJ145 FFS was announced in December 2016.
