Resource Group’s Aviation Technical Training division has received approval from the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to perform basic aviation maintenance training and exams.
The new CAR 147 certification from the GCAA allows Resource Group to deliver courses for CAR 66 Cat A, B1 & B2 licences across both the fixed and rotary wing sectors. It builds on the range of training programmes already delivered to UAE clients under EASA approval.
Ian Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of Resource Group Training Solutions, explained, “We have a declared commitment to expand our portfolio of training and related services into new regions and the investment we have made to achieve GCAA approval is a clear statement of intent to pursue this ambition. “Over the coming months we will be engaging with interested parties to discuss how we can firmly establish ourselves as a key contributor to skills development in the region.”
