PNG Air selects Avsoft solution for pilot training

PNG Air, an airline based in Port Moresby, Papua NewGuinea, operating domestic and contract corporate charter work, has selectedAvsoft International for its pilot training.

PNG Air is using Avsoft’s Dash 8 Q100 and ATR 72-600aircraft systems eLearning courses for initial pilot training and will useselected modules and tailored exams from the initial courses to satisfy itsrequirements for pilot recurrent training; the courses have been approved by PapuaNew Guinea’s Civil Aviation Authority.

Avsoft’sproprietary Learning Management System (AvLMS) was selected after extensiveevaluation to deliver the required training and to provide comprehensivereporting facilities to administer all aspects of pilot training and coursestructure.
