ATP Flight School has broken ground on a new 25,835-square-footpilot training center in Arlington, Texas. The facility increases ATP's Dallasfootprint to support unprecedented airline hiring demand for ATP trainedpilots.

With nearly 12,000 square feet of dedicated maintenancespace underpinning 13,875 square feet of training facilities, the complex willbe used exclusively by Airline Career Pilot Program students and instructors.

Dedicated ramp space at the location will provide a home to a fleet of factory-new Piper aircraft, as ATP begins accepting delivery of 100 new Archers in a second fleet order announced last year.

"This investment in our Dallas-based students is key insupporting the hiring needs of American Airlines and accelerating the pilotcareer path to the largest U.S. airline," said Michael Arnold, ATP'smarketing director.

ATP’s ground-breaking of the new training center comes justbefore a reception hosted by the ATP Alumni Association in Fort Worth, Texas,at the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum. This networking event on September25th is the association's second in 2019, recognizing and supporting ATP alumni.
