Jet2.com has contracted MPS to deliver a B737 NG Flight Training Device (FTD) for its training centre in Leeds Bradford, UK.
The device will be used in Jet2.com’s type rating training program. It will include MPS’ training software and innovations. These innovations allow Jet2.com to support many other training needs, such as instructorless training, data gathering and use of MPS’ proprietary FDM replay function.
Jet2.com Head of Flight Crew Training Captain Andrew Wheeler said, “The MPS FTD will not only increase our training capacity but also add a number of new and alternative options to the way we train.”
