SynDaver will debut an engineering kit for STEM students during the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH), which is taking place until January 30 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The engineering kit enables students to build a SynDaverAdvanced Modular Mannequin (SAMM), a customizable modular simulation tool, andfocuses on facilitating hands-on learning experiences centered aroundengineering, technology and science.

With SAMM’s applied approach to STEM studies broken downinto four essential kits, students will learn fundamentals in 3D technologiesin conjunction with engineering for pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic systemsto create an entry-level healthcare mannequin for basic clinical learningcapabilities. Upon completion of the project, students will be capable ofassessing and troubleshooting these systems while enjoying the process ofassembling a fully functioning product from start to finish.

Conference attendees can visit booth #938 throughout theconference to get live demonstrations of the technology.
