AERALIS and KBR sign MoU

AERALIS, a British company developing a military and aerobatic jet trainer aircraft, has signed a MoU with KBR, Inc.

A provider of differentiated professional services and technologies across the asset and program lifecycle within the defence sector, KBR have customers in more than 80 countries.

AERALIS said KBR would bring expertise to benefit the further development and sales of its system.

"That such a world-class organisation has expressed a desire to work with us helps to confirm our belief that we are on-track to deliver an unsurpassed fighter pilot training system whilst re-defining how to deliver this as a service in the most commercially flexible way."

Constructed around a common fuselage, the AERALIS jet trainers will be fully customisable. They will leased to customers as part of a complete training system. The system will prepare trainees for the upcoming demands of sixth-generation combat aircraft.

AERALIS also signed an MoU with THALES in July.  In August, it announced a commercial partnership with Atkins to develop a new suite of training aircraft.
