VA Airline Training (VA) will award 24 bursaries to celebrate 24 months of EASA MCC Airline Pilot Standards (APS MCC) training in Europe.

The 24 £500 bursaries will enable 24 new APS MCC trainees to embark upon the final ab initio leg of their airline pilot training journey at a reduced cost.

VA is the first ATO to provide APS MCC training in the UK. It is also the only UK-based Ryanair Training Partner for APS MCC training.

The bursaries complement the ‘Competency Assurance’ provided by VA which enables graduate competency at no further cost to the trainee.

To offer even further support, VA also offers trainees the opportunity to avail themselves of four regular fee incentives with a potential further £600 saving.

Over the past 24 months, VA has showed its pioneering approach with several significant achievements besides APS MCC approval for both B737NG and A320 types.

"We are proud of our achievements and want to share some of our success with our cadet customers, " said VA’s Managing Director, Anthony Petteford. "In turn, we are confident that our APS MCC graduates are just what our airline customers seek: Airline Ready pilots."

VA will host their next careers event on April 4 at their Cambridge training facilities.
