AIR BUSAN successfully launched CAE Rise for its flight training operations, making it the first airline in Korea to leverage CAE’s training system based on big data.

“By leveraging big data, AIR BUSAN will now be able to ensure the highest flight training standards to train its pilots,” said Jung Chang Jae, AIR BUSAN’s Vice President, Operation Division. Through CAE Rise, pilot reaction times, such as brake application timing during a landing procedure, can be monitored and evaluated to improve flight training quality.”

CAE Rise, real-time insights and standardized evaluations, is a data-driven training system that monitors select flight manoeuvres and procedures performed by pilots to provide metrics-based insights (MBI) to instructors during a real time simulator training event. Furthermore, the quality of instructor and pilot de-briefing session is improved due to access to objective data.

The partnership between AIR BUSAN and CAE dates to 2013.  Since then, AIR BUSAN has trained exclusively at CAE’s Training Centre in Korea.
