CABIN CREW TRAINING
EDM Limited has delivered and installed an A350 door trainer to Cathay Pacific's cabin crew training centre in Hong Kong. The door trainer comprises fully functional main doors with flight attendant seat and harness, local monuments and EDM standard features including internal normal door operation; emergency opening with power assist; manual slide inflation handle; simulated audio sounds; exit lighting Instructor Operating System; integrated door training malfunctions and emergency opening power assist failure.
Tony Bermingham, EDM's managing director commented: "This is our first A350 door trainer delivery and EDM is currently working on another A350 programme for Ethiopian Airlines."
