WestJet Encore Selects Avsoft's eLearning Solution

Avsoft International has signed an eLearning contract with WestJet Encore Ltd. to provide an aircraft systems pilot course for the Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop.

This course explores all the major aircraft systems of the Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboporp, including all the components, operations, controls, and indications involved with each system. Normal and abnormal conditions are discussed, and each system module concludes with a test. Embedded actions and features add to both the interactivity and the educational value of the aircraft systems course. Questions are included at the end of each system module. This course is designed to provide approximately 33 hours of comprehensive aircraft system training.

As part of the contract, WestJet Encore will be using Avsoft's Rapid Design, Development, and Deployment (RD3) System. RD3 enables a customer's Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage the questions at the end of each module, create final exams, create Recurrent Ground Schools, create their own projects, as well as import existing powerpoints into the RD3 format.
