Aerosim Flight Academy has launched its new Women Aviators Scholarship program to help deserving women with the potential to make a positive impact on the aviation industry. Based on their demonstrated talent, passion and skills, qualified recipients can receive up to $10,000 to apply toward their tuition for Aerosim Fliight Academy’s Professional Pilot Program.

"Our female instructors and students continue to make impressive contributions to the aviation field including participation in the Air Race Classic, a race dedicated to preserving and promoting the tradition of pioneering women in aviation,” said Hank Coates, president and general manager, Aerosim Flight Academy. “This scholarship program is just one more step in our on-going effort to support and bring specific awareness to women in aviation, while we also address the industry’s immediate need for skilled, professional pilots.”

Aerosim Flight Academy also recently launched the High School Senior Merit Scholarship program to support the development of future generations of professional pilots. The program, which is currently accepting applications until April 11, 2016, recognizes students who wish to pursue advanced training in the aviation industry and includes two $35,000 tuition awards for new professional pilot cadets.
