Airways College Presents its New Program of Excellence

After the recent revamp of its image, unveiled during the Aviation Career Tradeshow in Le Bourget (Paris) in January, France's AIRWAYS COLLEGE flight training school has revealed its new integrated program for future line pilots, NG300.

More comprehensive and offering more flying hours, this program of excellence is the result of six months discussion and close collaboration with airlines, HR directors and captains.

The new NG300 training program comprises of a total of 300 practice hours (simulator + flight); 74 twin-engine flying hours are also included, in preparation for a future twin-jet pilot career; a UPRT module (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training), teaches anticipation and management of loss of control recovery in flight. This module, supervised by test pilots, will be compulsory from 2018 onwards and anticipates this future regulatory requirement. The LOFT module (Line Oriented Flight Training) comprises 40 simulator hours (after the 30 hour MCC phase) and is a module that really immerses students in an airline operations context, permitting them to complete their training with an advanced level of competency concerning operational aspects of line flight operation; 1,200 hours of theoretical and practical work in parallel.

The NG300 program's flight instruction was conceived with airline and air business companies in mind, with specific situations and programs devised to better prepare students for their future job. Aspiring pilots will have the chance to discover the program in detail during the school's open days on Saturday 9th April (Agen & Nîmes) and Saturday 23rd April (Cholet).
