FlightSafety International has announced a significant expansion of its advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery training program. It will be offered for the Cessna CJ3, Gulfstream G450, Gulfstream G650, King Air 350 and Pilatus PC-12. FlightSafety's Upset Prevention and Recovery training was first introduced for the Gulfstream GV and Gulfstream G550 in June 2015. These new courses will become available between now and the end of the year. The location and start date varies by aircraft type.

This advanced training uses what FlightSafety says are the only flight simulator expanded aerodynamic, flight control, and motion models for Upset Prevention and Recovery Training qualified by the United States Federal Aviation Administration’s National Simulator Program. The models developed and incorporated into the simulators include low speeds that replicate full aerodynamic stalls and extreme high speeds beyond VMO, the maximum airspeed at which an aircraft is certified to operate, and beyond MMO, the maximum operating Mach number of an aircraft.
