Simulation Training Company and SIMCOM Aviation Training have announced a collaboration to open a general and business aviation training center near Paris, France. The training center will be branded SIMCOM Aviation Training Europe (SATE) and will focus on the light and medium business jet as well as owner flown market. The center is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2016.
"Training options for the owner flown market and for the light and medium jets are limited in Europe," said Denis Forestier, president of STC. "SATE will focus on the owner and corporate pilots by using SIMCOM Aviation Training's highly successful model of providing high quality, tailored training in a small class format."
SATE will provide training using a combination FNTP2 MCC + FTD Level 2 qualified FTD's and in-aircraft training. The first simulators will be for the B1900D and CJ1+ market.
