Multi Pilot Simulations (MPS) is to build and install an MPS B737-800W flight training device (FTD) at Simtech Aviation’s training centre in Dublin, Ireland.

The simulator will be used by Simtech Aviation for MCC/JOC training as well as for a significant part of the type rating programme for Boeing 737 aircraft.

Declan Dooney, Simtech Aviation’s CEO, said, “Simtech Aviation is delighted to confirm that we have entered an agreement with MPS to deliver a market-leading B737-800 FTD. This device will allow us to continue to deliver best in class MCC courses and to launch our APS MCC Course as advocated by Ryanair. The addition of a B737-800 FTD will enhance our unrivalled graduate placement rate and allow us to develop our airline partnership business with B737-800 operators.”

“We are pleased to deliver our advanced B737 FTD to such a professional and highly regarded aviation training centre as Simtech Aviation,” added MPS’ CEO, Dick Verburg. “We think that in this setting we can clearly show the advantage of using a fixed base simulator next to a full flight simulator in type ratings and other training by offloading a substantial part of the training on the MPS device.”

MPS is exhibiting at EATS 2017 on booth #412.
