Memorandum-CSAT-a-CVUT-1

Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has signed a two-year Memorandum of Co-operation with the Faculty of Transportation Sciences at the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague.

Under the Memorandum, CTU students in the Air Transport Department will have the opportunity to join a long-term vocational training programme run on CSAT’s premises, during which they can draft their graduation thesis.    CSAT will also provide CTU with decommissioned or damaged aircraft parts to be used by students during lectures to learn how to identify particular defects, for example.

Furthermore, the organisations will join forces when working on specialised aviation-related matters, such as the evaluation of operational reliability and safety in the field of aircraft maintenance safety.

“As we want to attract students who could primarily become our assets in the field of engineering of aircraft maintenance and operations, starting the co-operation with one of the best universities in the country was a logical step,” stated Pavel Haleš, Chairman of CSAT’s Board of Directors.

Prior to signing the Memorandum, CSAT attended CTU’s first annual Prague Aviation Week organised by the Faculty of Transportation Sciences from 4 to 8 December 2017. The company provided the opportunity for students to meet and greet CSAT employees and learn specific information regarding potential job opportunities.
