Jazz Aviation LP (Jazz) has added Québec-based Collège Air Richelieu to its Jazz Aviation Pathways Program (Jazz APP), bringing the number of educational institutions involved in the Jazz APP to 12.

The agreement is the first of its kind between Jazz and Collège Air Richelieu's Integrated ATPL program. The Jazz APP offers collaboration on training and the curriculum to promote safety and professionalism, while providing up-to-date information on industry best practices.

It is also aimed at establishing a direct career path for qualifying graduates, and will offer Collège Air Richelieu access to flight simulator evaluations and student scholarships as well as the opportunity for top-performing graduates to transition to first officer positions at Jazz.

“We're delighted to start the eleventh year of the Jazz Aviation Pathways Program with an expansion, and the addition of the high calibre program at Collège Air Richelieu,” said Steve Linthwaite, VP Flight Operations at Jazz.

The Jazz APP awards over C$70,000 each year to top students in recognition of safety and professionalism. In September 2017, Jazz welcomed Ottawa Aviation Services to the Jazz APP.
