CAE and Aeromexico Formacion launch cadet program

CAE and Aeromexico Formacion, the aviation training center of Grupo Aeromexico, have partnered to launched a new cadet pilot creation program. The first-of-its-kind in Mexico, this pilot creation program provides cadets with no flying experience, the opportunity to become Aeromexico pilots after completing a rigorous 18-month training program.

Starting in the summer of 2018, the first group of cadets will begin ground-school training at Aeromexico’s training centre in Mexico City, continue on with flight training at CAE in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and then return to Mexico to complete Embraer E170 type-rating training. All the flight training will be conducted on CAE’s fleet of Diamond and Piper aircraft equipped with glass cockpits and Garmin 1000 avionics.
