The Belgian airline TUI fly continues to grow and has selected the Belgian company Venyo to install a fixed base simulator at its headquarters in Zaventem. The simulator will be a valuable tool for the students of the pilot academy that was launched in 2017 by TUI fly. The simulator was installed at the end of May, will be certified in early June and be ready for the first training sessions in September.

André Berger, director Flight Operations TUI fly Benelux commented: "This new simulator is very innovative: it makes use of cutting-edge technology that reproduces the flight schedules of the Boeing 737, thus enabling us to offer high-quality training at a reduced price. In the future we aim to use this simulator and other similar ones for most of the training of the pilots. Thanks to this tool, we will take another important step towards preparing our pilots for any eventuality. Certain potential situations that used to be dealt with while flying a real aircraft can now be practised safely and in an in-depth manner."
