French flight school Trimaille Aero Formation (TAF) selected Alsim for the third time for its pilot training program by purchasing Alsim’s AL250 and ALX (Multi Engine Piston and Medium Jet) simulators. TAF used Alsim’s buyback campaign that lets schools replace their old devices with new ones with more updated technology.
TAF says it chose Alsim again because they have been pleased with their current Alsim devices and they want to be able to meet the coming regulatory criteria with LPV-certified simulators.
The school will use the the AL250 for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) training because they provide 2D, 3D and PBN approaches. It will use the generic A320 Medium Jet configured ALX for the Jet Orientation Course (JOC) and Multi-Crew Operation (MCC) Advanced training.
