Global Aviation SA, based in Greece, has entered into a long-term five-year agreement with Orbit Aviation from the Netherlands in order to provide and secure a future training capacity for its clientele.

Commencement of training is effective immediately, with the first cadets starting their theoretical training at Global Aviation’s facilities in Athens followed by intensive flight training at the flight base of Megara.

The entire training course is completed in 18 months in Greece and includes an Enhanced MCC or APS course conducted at EPST in the Netherlands.

Mr. Alexandros Tsaktanis, managing director of Global Aviation said, “we are proud to have Orbit Aviation on board with us. The extensive selection and assessment process reflects on the quality of cadets, therefore minimizing the training or financial risks as we share the same philosophy and high quality training standards.”

Mr. Niko Gerrits, CEO of the Orbit Group commented, “it was a win-win to partner up with Global Aviation as our leading training provider. Orbit Aviation was in need of training capacity for its rapid future expansion. Excellent staff, fleet commonality and the dedicated team at Global Aviation have led into this cooperation and new partnership.”
