By December 2019, Resource Group will have trained in excessof 700 aviation maintenance apprentices – significantly contributing togovernment targets of achieving 3 million apprenticeships by 2020 andaddressing the well-documented critical skills shortage in the aviation sector.

On 17 September 2019, Resource Group will host its annual Apprentice Awards Ceremony which will take place at Cotswold Airport, Gloucestershire. The ceremony will celebrate the hard work and dedication of all students who have completed the full time, highly intensive, 8-month theoretical and practical element of the EASA Part-66 Category A programme.



The ceremony will be the biggest event to date, with 77apprentices graduating and over 200 individuals confirmed as attending.Attendees include the students, together with their families and employers.

All apprentices will receive their graduation certificatesand four special awards will be presented on the day, including the AcademicApprentice Aircraft Award, Exemplar Apprentice Aircraft Award, Hand Skills -Aircraft Award, Chairman’s Award (new for 2019).

Resource Group looks forward to continuing to serve thesector by training more of the UKs future engineers and raising the awarenessof the fantastic and fulfilling opportunities on offer for young people in theaviation industry.
