The American College of Chest Physicians® (CHEST) received a $3 million equipment grant from the Olympus Corporation's Grants Committee that includes the latest ultrasound processors and radial probe driving units. The equipment supports expanded hands-on learning experiences at CHEST's Innovation, Simulation, and Training Center in Glenview, Illinois.

CHEST will use this equipment to train hundreds of clinicians and chest medicine teams through specialized courses and improve participants' clinical skills in the areas of bronchoscopy technique, endobronchial ultrasound, endobronchial navigation, airway dilation and bronchial thermoplasty.

The 15,000-square-foot Innovation, Simulation, and Training Center serves as a site for learning the latest tools and advancements in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
