Operative Experience (OEI) announced that OEI chairman, Lou Oberndorf, will assume the role of CEO for the company, effective immediately. Former CEO, Mick Navin has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Oberndorf brings more than 23 years of experience in medical technology leadership, including serving as founder and CEO of Medical Education Technologies Inc. (METI), the first company to deliver high-fidelity patient simulation to healthcare education.

In addition, Chief Financial Officer, Justin Weitzenfeld, will take on the additional role of general manager of Operations at the company’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in NorthEast, Maryland.
