Rekha Ranganathan appointed as CAE Healthcare president

CAE appointed Rekha Ranganathan as president of CAEHealthcare, effective immediately. She succeeds Dr. Robert Amyot, who willremain in an advisory capacity to help ensure a smooth transition.

Ranganathan has a proven track record of driving profitablegrowth in the healthcare industry, including several leadership positions atPhilips Healthtech, a foremost health technology company. Her latest positionwas vice president and global general manager for Computed Tomography andAdvanced Molecular Imaging within the Diagnostic imaging group, where she ledall functions. Her international background includes the leadership of thePhilips Oncology division based in India as well as the management ofcommercial and marketing strategy for Boston Scientific USA’s Indian andChinese markets. Ranganathan also served in strategy and marketing roles atMcKinsey.

Ranganathan holds an MBA from the Wharton School of theUniversity of Pennsylvania, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering andMaterials Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’sdegree in Metallurgy & Material Science from the Indian Institute ofTechnology.
