Cubic Global Defense has introduced a new technology that can adapt the C16 Automatic Grenade Launcher System (AGLS) for use in realistic, live training environments without interfering with the weapon's normal operation. Cubic will provide the Canadian Army with the enhanced system capability under a $5.5 million contract as part of the Weapon Effects Simulation (WES) program. Bill Toti, president of Cubic Global Defense, said: “This solution goes beyond traditional laser engagement by combining existing simulation techniques, information from the weapon system and state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality instrumentation.”
