Trideum Partners with QinetiQ’s Target Business

In partnership with QinetiQ Target Systems, Trideum Corporation was awarded the Low-Cost Subscale Aerial Target (LSAT) Systems and Services contract with Redstone Test Center in July. The LSAT effort is a Delivery Order under Trideum’s Aerial Target Systems 2 (ATS 2) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.

Trideum is partnered with QinetiQ’s Target Systems businessto provide the Banshee Jet 80+ as the primary target for operation on U.S.Department of Defense ranges, including the Orogrande and McGregor ranges inNew Mexico. The agreement also comprises a suite of aerial target payloadenhancements, ranging from Miss Distance Indication to supersonic drop targetpayloads. The Trideum / QinetiQ team will deliver engineering, technical,training, and flight services for all aspects of the Banshee Jet 80+, includingintegration into the Army Ground Aerial Target Control System (AGATCS).

But Trideum’s partnership with QinetiQ is not just limitedto targets.
