Boeing has selected Calytrix Technologies’ Calytrix Comms Net Radio (CNR) family of products as the underpinning communications framework for its Defence Operational Training Capability (Air) (DOTC(A)) Core System and Services (DCS&S) contract.

Working to the UK Ministry of Defence’s requirements, CNR will provideadvanced simulated radio communication capabilities across the DOTC(A) programto ensure Royal Air Force and other Defence crews get the most realistic trainingenvironment.

The CNR environment will deliver a fully integrated communications backboneincluding native HLA support, advanced signal propagation, degradation andjamming, reconfigurable operator radio interfaces, real-time audio variation,tactical chat services and remote management.
