Skyborne Airline Academy is launching a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) course that specifically emphasises professional airline standards to help build a foundation for safe, recreational flying.

During the PPL course, trainees will learn about airline philosophy, custom and practice as they complete their first flying licence. For those considering a future role as an airline pilot, the course also acts as a springboard to Skyborne’s EASA Modular ATPL programme.

The Skyborne PPL typically takes 10 weeks to complete, including 100 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction from experienced instructors and 45 hours of Diamond DA40 single-engine piston training at one of the UK’s top General Aviation airports.
