Simthetiq, provider of 3D content for the defense sector, has been selected by the French Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) to support their modeling, simulation, and visual content requirements for a wide range of simulation environments – from OpenFlight CDB-based image generators to Unreal Engine and Virtual Battlespace (VBS).

This new multi-year agreement will see Simthetiq delivering its interoperable (DIS/HLA compliant) 3D simulation entity model library for deployment within the defence simulation enterprise of a NATO member.

Leveraging Simthetiq’s 3,000+ library of 3D models, backed by robust tools and expert QA to provide “plug and play” visual content for use in both legacy, current and next generation image generators, and serious game engines, allows the DGA to meet multiple simulation and training objectives from a single investment, and facilitate joint research, experimentation and training between their different user communities.
