Team Topography Troopers, featuring Jordan Dauble (SimBlocks.io), Ryan Nelson (SimBlocks.io), and John Meo (ARA), emerged victorious at the NATO Modelling and Simulation as a Service (MSaaS) Coalition Jam held at the Central Florida Tech Grove from June 23-25.
The goal of the challenge was to demonstrate migrating a simulation component to the cloud.
The team successfully created a prototype service that converts synthetic terrains and 3D models from the OpenFlight format into Unity-compatible assets. The Topography Troopers won a cash prize and will demonstrate a cloud service at I/ITSEC 2023.
