Virtual Aviation (VA) has purchased a new B737-800 fixed based simulator from Multi Pilot Simulations (MPS), which is due to be installed at VA’s Cambridge Airport, UK-based Flight Training Centre in November this year.
The agreement between the two companies also includes an option for VA to buy a new Airbus A320 FTD1 simulator from MPS for delivery during the first half of 2018.
The new equipment will meet the growing demand for VA’s MCC/JOC training. It also means the company will be able to provide cost-effective Type Rating training and dry hire to its airline customers and training partners.
“Expanding our fleet with brand-new simulators from MPS is an important first step in our ambitious growth plans,” said VA’s Founder and Chief Executive, James Stevenson.
Virtual Aviation is Multi Pilot Simulations’ first ATO customer in the UK.
